chiz, thanks for the comment. You're made me realize that I was probably unnecessarily harsh. I was just angry at the whole anti-GW lobby. BTW, I found the interstellar dust cloud article interesting, that was something that I hadn't read about yet.

I don't want to get an argument with you either, because whatever the reason, we're still basically on the same side, but the Gristmill link I provided ( http://gristmill.grist.org/skeptics ) has a link specifically covering warming on Mars & Pluto ( http://gristmill.grist.org/story/2006/12/17/222712/69 ).

Anyway, all I'm saying is that a huge amount of science has been done, and there's an overwhelming consensus among scientists that it's caused by us. That doesn't mean all scientists agree, and it certainly doesn't mean all non-scientists need to agree. I just get angry at the people who say it's not happening but don't have any science to back up their position, such as this guy ( http://online.wsj.com/article/SB119680478212413517.html ), who just seems too opposed to Al Gore to ever accept the data.

Man made global warming is nothing more than a politician's dividing tool. I am an atheist who HAS done some 'real' studying on the matter and after years of study and research, I have come to one conclusion. It's bull.

The climate IS changing and there IS global warming, but it is not due to the actions of humankind. Are we 'helping' the matter? No. Do we need to cut back? Yes. Something should be done b/c it is wrong and unhealthy(to us and wildlife), not b/c we are 'destroying' the planet. I agree that this may be one of the biggest challenges mankind has ever faced and I also agree that we need to focus on solving the problem, but I think our views of why and how are a little different.

Basically, our entire solar system is undergoing changes. Even PLUTO is experiencing extreme temperature changes. Pluto has undergone a 300% increase in atmospheric pressure, which is the highest increase of any planet, and it is increasing as Pluto orbits AWAY from the Sun.

These links only touch on two subjects; our solar system's temperature changes and a non-biased explaination of what you discussed in your article. I don't wish to debate the finer points of G.W. with you b/c it is an endless debate that has endless sources for each point of view. I have only responded b/c you have 'shelved' all man made global warmer 'deniers' together. We are not ALL idiots and many of us HAVE done our research. YEARS OF IT.

Is this information 'real' enough for you?
